On Jan. 5, 2024, former Paralympic gold medalist and Olympic runner Oscar Pistorius was released on parole from a South African prison. He served nearly nine years of his 13 years and five months murder sentence for killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day  2013. “Blade Runner: The Verdict”  originally aired on Sept. 12, 2014.

Lori Vallow Daybell is currently on trial for the murder of her two children, “J.J.” Vallow and Tylee Ryan, and her alleged role in the death of Tammy Daybell, the late wife of her husband, Chad Daybell. Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell, who is also charged in the killings, have pleaded not guilty. Chad Daybell will be tried separately. Prosecutors say the couple’s so-called doomsday beliefs played a role in the murders. This episode originally aired on May 16, 2020.
